1.What does the programme involve?
We’re selecting up to 25 UK startups to take part in a unique 10-day roadshow, covering four rapidly developing cities across China’s most prosperous province.
Roadshow events in Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and Nantong will offer unprecedented access to local innovation officials, private sector leaders and state-backed innovation investment vehicles, helping you find the right connections and investors to crack the China market.
2. What support will we receive from Dere Street Capital after the roadshow?
Dere Street Capital will facilitate interested parties to proceed with investment agreements
Dere Street Capital will also remain available throughout the roadshow to provide advice and consultation

3. What training will be available before we go into China?
Dere Street Capital is proud to offer complimentary registration to our unique Chinese market entry course ‘Cracking China’ for all those selected to participate in the roadshow. This course will take place in London and is also available to anyone who wants to join for a small fee. (Please email r.li@derestreetcapial.co.uk for more information)
4. Who manages the legal side of any potential deals?
Other than the introduction agreement, your lawyers will be responsible for preparing the legal documents for the investment. If you do not have lawyers, we can make recommendations of lawyers who are qualified to operate in China and the U.K.
5. Do I need to be eligible for SEIS/EIS? .
Not necessarily, but it helps.
