Dere Street Capital (DSC)

Dere Street is where Britain's brightest startups meet the world's most experienced leaders in business. Through our focal hubs in China and the UK, we make unique investment and joint venture opportunities happen. Dere Street Capital has been formed as a partnership with the Sino British Summit; an independent platform for strengthening UK-China relationships, with a focus on both countries’ next generation leaders. Since 2017, the team behind the Sino British Summit has received significant international endorsement, including from the then UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, Former US Vice President Al Gore and the Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University.

Al Gore Jr, the Former Vice President of the United States of America (1993-2001), 2007 Nobel Peace Laureate. Al Gore was referred to by Time magazine as "a businessman who is out to change the world." An environmental, business and tech visionary recognised as one of the world's leading activists. In 2019, through a video of support, Vice President AI Gore shared with us his commitment to climate change and without reservation recognised the role of the Sino British Summit.
